The Best Vests are Here

You may have noticed knitted vests trending this past autumn and winter. We think vests are one of this season’s best pieces to have in your wardrobe.

We have many vests this season. The best thing about a vest is that you can style it so many ways. In fact, we think vests are the unsung heroes of fashion right now. They can transform a simple outfit into a stylish look. Whether you’re aiming for a professional look or a casual streetstyle ensemble, vest outfits offer versatility and sophistication.

Here are our thoughts on how to wear a vest this season.

Knitted Vest + Skirt

An oversized knitted cotton vest looks fresh with a linen skirt. Scarves, tote bags and bold necklaces will pair beautifully with this relaxed style.

Shorts

Vest + Palazzo Style Pant

A matching vest and palazzo style pant is a complete one-and-done outfit, but it's also versatile enough to wear as separate pieces.

Is this a vest? Yes, it is, and we are calling this a faux vest. The structural detail and subtle pinstripe add interest and give it a little edge. Wear with a casual pair of shoes or with a dressier pair for more formal events.

Wide-leg Pant

Wide-leg pants are the ultimate in comfort, and you’ll wear them for many seasons.

The knitted vest has a slightly boho, retro look, and we love it with a lightweight, wide-leg pant.

Skirt + Base Layer

You can wear most vests with a base layer underneath. Tanks, fitted tees, and blouses are options if it’s a cooler day and you want to cover your arms.

A 3/4 fitted tee shirt is a good piece to layer underneath vests.
